Proline Plus™ Professional Applicator Field Audits
Field Audits & Inspections
Field Audits, or installer site inspections, are conducted by Urethane Foam Consultants (UFC), a third-party, independent certification organization utilizing inspectors certified to ISO 17020. Field audits are designed to ensure that the end user is provided with a product which meets Winroc's quality standards and is in accordance with the national standards for materials installation, local, Provincial and National Building Codes, Winroc's instructions, any applicable installation specifications and the requirements of the Field Quality Assurance Program (FQAP).
Field Audits bring consistency to the industry and ensure quality to the consumer. Winroc, our authorized suppliers/distributors and end users of Proline Plus™ Professional Spray Foam Insulation can be confident that installation will be carried out by conscientious and well-trained applicators.
The inspections are grouped into Training inspections and Inspector-requested Inspections.
The fees for these inspections are updated on an annual basis. You may contact UFC for up-to-date fees.
The Training Inspections are conducted after an installer has completed the Proline Plus™ Professional Applicator Training Program and are an extension of the training program. The auditor will observe the applicator spraying Proline Plus™ Professional Spray Foam Insulation in the field—either on a job site or a mock up. The inspector may question the applicator as to how and why certain procedures are necessary or what may occur under various conditions. This audit will be used to confirm the applicator’s practical knowledge.
Inspections will be conducted every two years. In addition, random, unannounced inspections will be also be conducted. Random inspections will include complaint investigations and ongoing follow ups. UFC will conduct the random inspections and the contractor is obliged to coordinate the inspection with the construction schedule. If mandatory inspections are to be included in the contractor's bid, the cost of the inspection is borne by the contractor. Inspector-recommended inspections occur when the Licensed Auditor has found violations of the FQAP and has recommended that additional inspection(s) be conducted. The Inspector will then make their finding and/or recommendations available to Winroc and/or UFC.
